I'm fine with it... if the draft was early April then it's another long boring month until early August. May, June, July are already slow enough... at least with the draft so late you can spend half or most of May talking about the draft and checking out our pics in depth.

Plus teams need time to sign free agents after March 1st (13th this year)... in the past minus last year free agency moved a lot slower and there weren't 200 signings in less than two weeks. Plus then teams probably take time to re-evaluate after getting free agents and see where needs are, etc. You can't expect them to go combine late Feb, free agency early/mid March, draft late march....

You mean 3 instead of 2? Yeah, at 1st I was not liking it but 3 instead of 2 days just means one less day to wait for the draft. I can deal with waiting between rounds 1 and 2... gives us and teams a chance to scheme, evaluate things, maybe work on trades for early 2nd round, etc.
