I know... one side effect benefit of being in the playoffs is a shorter offseason. Hard to believe we would have been almost a full 3 weeks into the offseason already. If your team goes to the SB it's like 24 days until free agency (March 1st?) compared to a team not in the playoffs who's been in the offseason for like 2 months. Only downfall is less time to work on signing your own FAs. As for the draft, I would have been digging in 3 weeks ago now I am just putting it off and probably won't get into it until our season is over. I won't be as well prepared as some years but being near the last pick in each round it's not as exciting as an early pick and we can just sit back and take solid players instead of worrying about potential for the most part. Edit: Plus when you're at #7 or whatever you pretty much have to look at all the 1st rounders where now we can cross a good chunk off our list. At least we can but I am sure the FO still looks at all the players in case of someone falling or if they want to trade up.
