In all honesty I would rather we did this then almost anything else right now. I know I'm emotional from the game but as long as we get 2 legit WRs this off season and have crabtree and morgan in the mix we'd be good.
look i'm not trying to be a martyr for williams for miscommunication in the secondary cost us 2 picks and the play calling was horrible inconsistent compared to last week. At the end of the game and OT we weren't being nearly as aggressive as we were against the saints, we needed to go for the kill and instead we call draws and roll outs......Not to mention that BS forward progress call......
A confection of things caused this loss but ultimately we still had a shot and KW lost it for us.
Sorry to go off on a somewhat irrelevant issue but we truly need 2 new WRs this off season.

I'd rather get Mohamed Sanu than this guy. We need big play receivers.

really wish we had a chance at blackmon he is a true WCO WR
michael floys is the next best fit for our offense hopefully we can trade up for him
other than that sanu is a greatfit as well but jeffery will give us a great RZ target

I could be completely wrong, but I'm just worried that he is another J.J. Stokes.

No, that was from earlier this season. Lattimore wasn't even on campus when Alshon was a freshman.

do not want. His lazy routes prob won't get him open against NFL defenses. Every year, there are big, athletic college WRs that everyone describes as a "can't miss" red zone threat, then they get drafted and disappear (James Hardy?). I think this guy is one of those. I could be wrong, but I'd prefer Sanu.

Why would you prefer a injury prone 1 year wonder over a guy whos produced since he was a freshman? Sanu himself is also very raw with his route running and has the same issues with speed even tho he isnt as big as Jeffery.

Wouldn't touch this guy with a ten foot pole. Watched his highlights on YouTube and he looks slow. Just another receiver who uses his size against smaller college cornerbacks. This doesn't work in the NFL. Trust me guys, we need a guy who can get separation and Alshon Jeffery is NOT the guy to get this done.
Haven't we learned by now? No separation = Alex holds the ball. We REALLY need some speed at the WR spot. I'll take a pass on Alshon Jeffery.
