It could happen - I wouldn't rule out AJ Green or Julio Jones for the 9ers in the 1st

Not sure how you think Prince might be there at 10 for the niners if they trade down with Washington when you have Prince going to the Cowboys at 9. I presume you think AJ Green goes 9. to the Cowboys instead?

Of all the top players in this draft, Green makes least sense to me. I dont think we tie up two early first round picks at receiver at any time, let alone when we have so many other needs and when we dont actually have anyone, right now, to throw them the ball.

If Green is still there and no one else worthy of our pick, surely the pick will bring a good offer. He is after all one of the very best players available this year.

Pick ahead of the Cards.

Their needs are similar to ours in many ways. They could take Von Miller, Blaine Gabbert, Patrick Peterson, AJ Green, Robert Quinn - depending on who's available.

And I'm not saying I'm 100% on all of those - but if our staff particularly want one player that doesn't go in top 3 it would be annoying watching him go to a division rival. Personally, I'd see what drops to 7, then maybe trade back if possible.

I see that happening, too. Give them our 3rd and maybe our 2nd 4th rounder to get Peterson or Miller.

Another thing the could happen is a trade up with the Browns. The Browns could shop their pick with Peterson available. To be sure to get him, swap picks with them, give our 2nd 4th to the Browns. So they can select their WR (with no danger from us taking a WR) and we could avoid somebody trading up ahead of us.
