It's time to put together our 49erswebzone collaborative big board. Vote for the player you want to be #4 on our big board. In other words, if all these players were available at #7 who would you want to chose? Just to clarify, you should vote for who you want to pick not a prediction of who you think Baalke would pick.
Our big board:
1. Patrick Peterson
2. Von Miller
3. Marcell Dareus
4.

I'm surprised Quinn is beating AJ Green, Fairley and Amukamara. I went Green but I can see why people don't want WR at 7 with it being down on the list of needs.

With Von Miller at #2 already, this whole thing is for me.

I went with Green as well. I'm not as high on our WRs as others are. Although like you, I can understand why some don't wanna take another WR in the top 10.

Quinn, Prince, Trade down, Fairley, etc... We just simply don't need another WR over our many nees that we have.

Just rank the players.

I know how a Big Board works but i think that word gets used for a lot of concepts...
Normally you would just rank the Board as far as who is the very best ranked player regardless of position... However the post says, "if all of these players were available at #7, who would you want to choose"...
Again, nothing wrong with Green as a player but we have way to many needs on the team so I would not want him...
Maybe I missing the concept of the post but that is how it reads to me.

It is still pretty close, so I'm going to leave this one up until tomorrow morning. For those of you picking A.J. Green I would like to hear why you want to go WR at #7 when we have bigger needs. I'm not saying you're wrong I just want to hear the argument. Do you think A.J. Green is that big of a "can't miss" prospect?

LAFortyNinerFan kind of summed it and I just think he is a safer pick and a better player than say Fairley, Prince, Quinn, and the rest. Are you guys so sold on Josh Morgan and the pile of 4s and 5s behind him? Crabtree will get better but if Green would overtake him so be it. The only downfall is it's tough to keep 2 guys who are like 1A and 1B happy. (Fitz/Boldin and Housh/Johnson) Problem is sooner or later someone isn't happy with the other getting more balls or more money or being called the #1. Don't get me wrong I would be satisfied with Prince, Fairley or Quinn but those guys scare me a heck of a lot more than Green (minus Prince). Prince seems like a safe pick but I don't think he is worthy of 7 or at least I don't think he will be shut down like some want/thing. Newton and Gabbert are even scarier for me. I think the team that hits on most of it's picks will be better than the team that misses on most but gets that rare super star. I would say QB is one of the few positions worth the gamble but that doesn't mean you have to play roulette.

Quinn or Green?
I think our Big Board should also reflect needs as well as BPA, so Quinn should be it and lets move on to #5
