Okay, so heres the deal, I'm a huge follower of the ACC because I'm a Georgia Tech fan. So I was wondering from any of you SEC followers when AJ and Patrick squared up in college, whom usually won the battle? Theres talk of Patrick being one of the best shutdown cornerback prospects to come out in some time, just as there is those whom say AJ Green is one of the best receiver prospects in some time, so I was curious when these two played each other, if they did, which one usually came out on top?

Somebody else probably knows this for sure. But I heard PP on radio this week adn I believe he said he only faced Green one time. I think Green was suspended this year when LSU played GA. I think he face Julio Jones more than he did AJ Green. I know Peterson only allowed one TD this year and it was Julio who scored it.

id take Peterson. good wide receivers come out all the time but a great corner like peterson is hard to come by. i dunno about their college battles.

I think both will be excellent pros. If they are both there at 7 - highly highly unlikely - I'll have to go with Peterson because of our need. I do worry about Peterson's weight though, would love to see him lose 5-10lbs.

If Patrick Peterson is still there they absolutely HAVE to take him.

Both are great players and I think Green is probably the better prospect, but CB is a much more difficult position to fill.
Peterson for me
Peterson for me

Agreed, athleticism can not be taught. Everything else can.

It would be VERY interesting if the draft went down like this:
1. Carolina - Newton
2. Denver - Darius
3. Buff - Miller
4. Cincy - Gabbert
5. AZ - Peterson
6. Clev - Quinn
So then the Niners are staring at the best available player of AJ Green. Man that would be VERY interesting.

I personally agree 100%. Sure we have other needs but I'm not a Josh Morgan fan at all! I'd sprint up to the podium if we had a shot at AJ Green.

Wrong.
Alex Smith is very athletic, way more athletic than Tom Brady or Joe Montana, but he is still 19-31 and among the worst QBs in the NFL. He hasn't learned leadership, instinct, timing, or the ability to anticipate.

Take Peterson. After Peterson, Prince and Smith, there's a big dropoff.
There's depth at WR. Little and Young in the 2nd would be the route I'd go; however, I don't expect us to draft a WR too early. Green is a hell of a player though. He's probably the most gifted athlete in this draft, IMO.
