The Anthony Davis pick was with Bulaga off the board already and Kindle who i think is very good will not start right away. I want our first 2 picks to be starters right away and davis and thomas gives us that.
That's what makes a horse race we each bet on our favorites! As I said I wouldn't be unhappy with your scenario but those are the two I would like? We'll see what the Niners do come Thursday, it should be interesting and a thrill a minutes!

Lets just hope we draft impact players(davis, crabtree, staley, willis) and not average players(lawson, balmer, smith).

if we take davis we wait until pick #17 IMO. I'd rather take Haden or Kyle Wilson if we go DB in round 1.
I disagree here, if the top 3 OT are taken, and especcially if Seattle hasn't picked an OT yet, we have to go OT at 13 unless something phenomenal happens like Eric Berry falling to us. I don't mind Thomas at 17 whatsoever, and Thomas at 49 wouldn't be a bad pick either. If Sapp is there in the 3rd, then yeah I think he has to be a strong possibility as well. Overall nice mock.
we're not going to let D.Goldston go, he is going to get a nice contract and i just don't see the team paying top $ for 2 safties. IMO if the top 3 or 4 OT are gone by #13 we either trade back or take Haden if he is available.

He does not have to be a fs he can be moved to CB. Thomas ran a 4.37 fastest among Db's and his ballhawking ability i think he can make the transition. Alot of people think this guy can make the transition to DB and thats why there is talk of him even going in the top 10.

I also really like Marshall Newhouse in the 4th. A durable, 3-year starter at LT for a strong TCU team, projected as OG at the NFL level. Good quickness and speed to pull. Very versatile. Could see him being a starter at OG by Year 2 with back-up capability at OT. Maybe a quicker (and better) version of Adam Snyder. Not bad bloodlines, either. Uncle Robert Newhouse was a bad-a$$, no-nonsense FB for the Cowboys back in he day.
This is what Baalke is talking aboiut when he envisions getting 5 starters out of this draft - a guy like Newhouse in Round 4.

Lawson led a unit that was fifth in sacks! Wat more do you need. If anything the OL needs to step up!

Let me start of by saying that i really like the ted ginn jr trade. I feel like our major needs our at RT,CB,SS,ILB,G.
1. OT Anthony Davis
With Davis we plug him at RT right away and he brings that physical attitude to our o line and in case Joe staley gets hurt. (Williams, okung, bulaga, haden off the board already)
1. CB/FS Earl Thomas
This pick is more of a value pick and bpa as earl thomas just keeps climbing up draft boards. Thomas instantly becomes our nickel cb unless our coaching staff decides its time for lewis to hang up the cleats and goldson makes a smooth transition to ss and thomas would become the starter at FS. (Kyle wilson, Mike Iupati, Pouncey still on the board)
2. NT Cam Thomas
Okay i know i will probably get grill for this pick but with franklin being 29 and we apply the franchise tag this year there is no gurantee we can get him to sign. Vince wilfork just got a monster deal and you can bet franklin is licking his chops right about now. As for thomas we can start rotating him at NT since i dont believe ricky-jean can make that transition and with cody, williams, houston and linval joseph off the board hes the highest rated NT available. Solid NT's are very hard to come by and he would join his tar heel buddy balmer. Say hello to our future NT.
3. OLB Ricky Sapp
I believe we still need a constant pass rush and this guy can bring it off the edge. This pick is more about lawson being in the final year of his contract and i feel like they might let him walk and we need somebody to step in for him next year so lets start grooming lawsons replacement. ( I hope lawson steps it up)
4. G Marshall Newhouse
Singletary LIkes big linemen and with our new o line coach and his blocking scheme i think he can do wonders with this guy and he is pretty atlethic for a 6'4 319 guy who ran a 5.00 in the 40. Bass is only on a one year tender and chilo is no proven thing.
5. Wr/Pr/KR Ted Ginn Jr.
Not too far off from some of the guys I have. Check it out.
1a Joe Haden CB /Earl Thomas S /Dan Williams NT
I'm good with Thomas. Haden is more of the safe pick but I think ET has more potential upside.
1b Anthony Davis OT
yup. check.
2 Ricky Sapp OLB/ Vlad Ducasse OG
So, you got Cam Thomas NT. My thinking was guard and OLB could potentially start this coming season so that's why I have them first. Really I'd be good with Cam and I'd just take bpa of the bunch.
3 Mitch Petrus OG/Dorin Dickerson TE
You got Marshall Newhouse as the guard to take. I'd be good with him. I also have Dorin Dickerson in this round. Need for guard is high but if we can find a player that can replace both Moran Norris and D Walker, then we should take him.
4 Myron Lewis S
Later rounds is a good place to go after some DB's and hope they stick.
5 Ginn trade
Great Mock. Pretty much exactly how I see our priorities!

I'd take Haden at #13, Davis at #17...or, if Haden's gone, I'd go Davis, then Iupati or Pouncey. I'd rather get two of the best OL...rather than get an ok OG later. I like the rest of your picks, though.
