If Dez Bryant falls to 13

If Dez Bryant falls to 13

Maybe the Raiders will take him at 8?

Why does any Niner fan care if Parker is a potential draftee's agent? Praage and company made him their biatch last year. He got embarrassed nationally and already knows his tactics of keeping players out over contract issues also doesn't work (IE Crabtree got a worse deal then originally offered).

Parker will not eff with Praage again.
We would almost have to air it out because that would put the most pressure on defenses. This would only be good for Smith sure to his success int he shotgun and the spread offense. Crab, VD, and Dez in the same spread offense airing it out sounds like it could be one of t he best offenses around. Given the success we'v seen Alex in the shotgun surveying the field, making quick decisions, this could really bode well for our offese, unfortunately this would mean less touches for Frank but it could elongate his career. Thoughts?...
we wont draft bryant
Smith, Carr nor Davis can throw the ball if they are lying on their back. Conventional wisdom tells us that you don't use #1 pick's to take WR's in consecutive drafts (Hello? Detroit?). Not enough footballs on the field to keep them happy. And for a team that has grevious needs on the OL and secondary, taking another WR in the top 2-3 rounds just doesn't make much sense. There will be some talented pass catchers in the middle of the draft that the team can grab if they are so inclined.

And I wouldn't use a #1 choice on a wideout with questionable drive and attitude. His last two radio interviews didn't help his cause either.

With that said, it's anybodys guess where Bryant will land in the draft. Could be Top 10 or Bottom 10 of the first round. But I would agree that he's probably going to be taken in the 1st round based on talent and upside alone.
Get one of the tackles, Davis or Iupati and DEz then we will have a really good offense. I say we do it, unless spiller is still there for some reason (doubt it)
It just won't happen.
Great, Two All-Pro wide receivers beating everyone down field and our quarterback flat on his back behind the worst offensive line in the league.

contrary to popular belief. Gore had relatively the same amount of rushes per game than he has his entire career.

2009 16.3 (17.5 if you take away his failed attempt to play against the Vikes)
2008 17.1
2007 17.3
2006 19.5 rushes per game

It just didn't seem like it was as much because every other play wasn't a hand off. We were actually able to move the ball a little through the air. Getting Bryant would add alot to this offense.
"If we drafted Dez Bryant"... that would mean he fell pretty far, at least till the 49th pick.
Ginn signing pretty much destroys this thought.

Not really, Ginn will be used as a PR/KR, his signing is more likely an indication of Spiller not being picked by the niners as opposed to Bryant. Ginn is not a #1 or #2 receiver, and he'll have to fight to get consideration for #3 along with Hill and Jones. Look at what Philly did, when they had a stud 1st year receiver with Jackson, and they went out and got Maclin, even though they had Kevin Curtis as well - it worked out pretty well for them.
