He will forego a 5th year of eligibility at Stanford.

Guy is obviously a load but Stanford's line was awesome this year. The thing to do is, watch the highlight videos, and think about how other RB's would perform in the same circumstances. I don't think Gerhart is a starting-caliber RB in the NFL.

What round do you guys see him going in? 2nd or 3rd?
I know a lot of people around here want a speedy RB/KR. But what if we drafted a WR/KR later on and picked up Gerhart to use as a power back?
I think he could be a good RB in the NFL, especially if he's splitting carries. The guy is pretty quick for his size and he plows through tacklers. Yeah, his line was amazing, but he still got lots of yards after first contact.

He lacks that speed to finish off runs, bearing in mind everyone is faster in the NFL I don't think he would be a starting RB, probably a short yardage back or FB.
Anyone know how well he can run block?

I don't think he will be good in the NFL, not enough speed or quickness.
People forget that what made Bettis great was he had quick feet.

He's a complementary RB/H-Back.
