Oh and because he got hurt.

he got hurt doing the cal game too, does he get hurt a lot?

Yep. He's like Arnaz Battle, except 10x more production.

He takes a beating cuz he's our (U of MN) only real weapon on offense.

I'd still draft him

I think he would excel as a number 2 or slot guy

I'd love to draft him as well, but bang for buck, I'd love to snag Jacoby Ford in the 2nd.

I havent seen much of Ford. He seems like a speed guy...

How are is WR abilities?

I'd say he's on par with Devin Hester when he first converted to WR.

But he's the gadget type guy that the Vikings use Percy Harvin on a regular basis.

For a late-second, early-third round pick, he's got the speed and receiving experience to make a nice project at WR and some action at RB.

Good analysis on him: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1114251

WFT...which language are you speaking. I've read one of your other posts, and it was just as incoherent. Write your thoughts out on a piece of paper and keep reviewing it and correcting it until it makes sense. Then post it. My head feels like it's going to explode after it tries to decipher your posts.
Jacoby Ford is way ahead of Devin Hester as a receiver. Ford has soft hands and has become a good route runner. He'd be a very good slot guy for us. He is similar to Harvin in terms of being able to be used as a situational ballcarrier, but Ford isn't really a "shake and bake" kind of guy. He just excels at finding a seam and going or getting the corner.

Ford is also a great return guy who gets overshadowed by Spiller. Ford has a couple of punt returns and kickoff returns for TD under his belt as well.

Spiller and Ford have about the best straight line acceleration I've seen. Ford is a step faster, though.

Check this highlight. The first play is Spiller's TD return, but watch how easily Ford gets out in front and escorts him down the field. It's always crazy watching those two run down the field together. Ford isn't even looking where he's running half the time while easily keeping pace with Spiller. The other two highlights are Ford TDs as well.

I'm not just being a homer when I say Ford is way ahead of Hester. Ford is a natural receiver. Having said that, I'd be a little surprised if he goes before the third round, unless he does as expected and runs the fastest 40 time at the combine. I'd love to get him in the third round to be our slot/return guy, though.
Both Ford & Spiller had great games!
Not really related to last weeks watch, but I didn't feel it was necessary to start a new thread.

Update: Minnesota WR Eric Decker is gone for the season after tearing ligaments in his left foot.

This could really, really hurt him. He's already known for having durability concerns, and this doesn't help.

It could be beneficial to a team that will take a flier on him in the late 2nd, early 3rd round.

Since I go to the U, I've seen Decker many times at the football games. Dude is a beast, and would be amazing in Red n Gold.
