My offseason plan
Resign:
Dre Greenlaw - he's my top priority. He's the heart of the defense
Ben Bartch - Get him resigned. Would like for him to compete for the RG
Evan Anderson
Sam Okuayonu
Charlie Heck
I'd offer team friendly contracts to just about all our other low end free agents
Let Walk:
T Hufanga - I'd offer him a deal but it would be low and I'd expect him to walk.
J Hargrave
C Ward - Same with Huff but I think Ward wants to leave Cali
E Mitchell - I think he's gone. Probably wants more opportunities
J Mason - same as E Mitchell
Free Agents:
D Dalman (Falcons, Center) - our vet center. Played at Stanford and hopefully wants to come home
M Bell (Cowboys, Safety) - should be able to compete for starting safety. Graded fairly well from PFF in coverage in 2023. Injured in 20
Kristian Fulton (CB, Chargers) - I'd bring in a veteran corner who won't break the bank.
Draft: Used pff mock draft simulator. Traded down from 11.
Rd 1 - Josh Simmons (OT, Ohio State) Trade down a few spots to 20ish and picked up an early 3rd. Simmons is the future LT but he'd compete for RG or RT his rookie year.
Rd 2 - Shemar Steward (DE, Texas A&M)- Athletic freak. Would start right away on base downs and help shut down the run. Should develop into a good pass rusher in year 2-3. I wanted Jack Sawyer here but in my mock he wasn't available
Rd 3 - Alfred Collins (DT, Texas) - should be in our dline rotation from day 1
Rd 3 - Mason Taylor(TE,LSU) - This is the extra pick we got from the rd 1 trade. Good possession TE who could develop into solid starter. Should be TE2 day 1.
Rd 4 Luke Kandra (G, Cincy) - mauler guard. Should compete for starting RG or depth
Rd 4 (comp pick)- Ollie Gordon (RB, OSU) - This is a BPA luxury pick. Gordon was stellar in 2023. OSU dropped off in 2024.
Rd 5: Zah Frazier (CB, UTSA - 6'2 corner
Rd 6: Drew Kendall (OC, Boston College) - A center we can develop
Rd 7: De'Rickey Wright (S, Vandy) - safety depth
I feel like this really shores up the majority of our needs and puts us back into the playoffs.

He did a heck of a job to not bring him back for depth.

Niners already have a two 3rd rounders. So that trade would make 3 picks in the 3rd round. Also trading down to the early 20s would net you a 2nd rounder.

Why do you keep mentioning competing for RG spot? Puni was our best OL all season and has that locked up. I think you mean LG??

Shemar Stewart isn't gonna last until the 2nd imo.
SF has 2 3rds right now, not seeing the extra pick for moving down? And I would hope they get more than a 3rs do move down to 20?

I don't think its far fetched for him to fall to 43. I think he goes anywhere from 25-45.

That would be a great offseason. I love the focus on rebuilding the trenches. In the draft, Kandra and Collins are two of my favorites.

It's a crazy deep draft for D linemen. Someone will drop.

Nice mock. Can't argue with the picks.
I like your focus on the trenches but your picks don't make sense.
You should have an extra 3rd in your trade down (which isn't nearly enough for trading down from 11), where does the 5th rounder come from and you're missing 3- 7th rounders
