I like it. We need an overhaul on the Dline.
I'm hoping we sign a DT in free agency (Milton Williams) and then we can use 2.43 on a few safety which is a huge need.

Updated, no trade mockdraft.
Still predicated on signing a center in free agency (Dallman), and hopefully a tightend (Tremble) and FB/OW (Skowronek). Wouldn't mind a big name corner (Reed/healthy Samuel Jr) and definitely need to get Greenlaw back. Fingers crossed for a day 2 return on a Deebo trade as well (not likely, but why else would a pre-draft trade be imminent?). I'll take a Jahdae Barron or another EDGE if that's the case (David Walker is one of my favorite prospects in the class, or id also like someone who can potentially hold up as a 3-down end rather than a DPR)
1 Armand Membou, RT
Why he might not be there: Potentially the top OL in a draft where teams in the top 10 need OL help, and theres a lack of bluechip talent at other positions.
Why he might be there: Teams might have arbitrary thresholds where players of his stature (6'3") are automatically seen as a guard, and off the board entirely as a viable OT.
2 Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE
Why he might not be there: Bendiest, craftiest most refined edge rusher in this class.
Why he might be there: lacks the elite explosiveness you ideally want at the position in an undersized package that leaves questions about the strength profile and ability to hold up as a 3-down edge defender.
3 Darius Alexander, DT
Why he might not be there: Dude is well put together, and has had a really nice pre-draft process.
Why he might be there: Very old prospect in a class deep at the position
3 Omarr Norman-Lott, DT
Why he might not be there: one of the most explosive IDL in the draft class.
Why he might be there: very low snap count in college will leave teams with questions.
4 Anthony Belton, OL
Why he might not be there: massive human with all of the length and strength you'd expect of someone his size, but with athleticism of someone a little bit smaller.
Why he might be there: Will likely need to start his career at guard before attempting to develop into a viable tackle.
4 Jamaree Caldwell, DT
Why he might not be there: Rare smoothness for a 335lb nose tackle.
Why he might be there: he's a 335lb nose tackle.
4 Dante Trader Jr, S
Why he might not be there: well rounded safety talent, comps favorably to Jimmie Ward.
Why he might be there: tested as average of an athlete as there is.
5 Michael Mayer, TE
Ok, so I cheated and did a trade. But at least I didn't project a draft pick that doesnt actually exist.
6 Darien Porter, CB
Why he might not be there: 6'3". 33+" arms (!!!!!!). 4.30 forty. 1.49 10yard split. 36.5 vert. 10'11" broad. 6.71 3C. 4.04SS. Absolute freak. Standout production on special teams. Unafraid to use his size vs the run
Why he might be there: old prospect, 6th year senior. New to the position with only 1 year of starting experience, primarily in zone only. Zyon McCollum, another freak athlete, went 5th round, so there is precedent of teams letting the freakiest of freaks drop on draft day. (6'2" 199 lbs. 4.33 40, 1.46 10, 39.5 vert, 11' broad, 6.48 3C, 3.94SS). Gat damn. Tariq Woolen, another freak athlete at the position, also a 5th round pick. (6'4" 33+" arms. 4.26 40. 1.49 10. 42" vert)
7 Tyreem Powell, LB
Why he might not be there: toolsy LB with 35" arms
Why he might be there: a name that is not getting any buzz during the draft process. An Achilles injury really sapped him of speed and explosiveness, and so judging solely off recent game tape, he appears to lack the athleticism of a starting line backer. Requires hope that another year removed from injury allows him to return to the sideline-to-sideline star that he was shaping up to be prior.
7 Glendon Miller, DB/ST
Why he might not be there: primarily a back of roster, special teams talent.
Why he might be there: primarily a back of roster, special teams talent
7 Ricky White III, WR/ST
Why he might not be there: A discount Luther Burden
Why he might be there: Pretty heavily discounted, with most value coming at special teams early in his career.

Not really getting dropping Maliek Collins, but they clearly want a total reset on the DL, and no way they don't look to completely revamp it immediately.

4 Anthony Belton, OL

In my mind, officially a rebuild. I was holding out hope for Jonathan Allen, but now i see no avenue towards putting a competitive roster out there this year. With that thought process, he's my bigboard for pick 11:
Abdul Carter Jr, EDGE
Mason Graham, DT
Shemar Stewart, DE
Armand Membou, OT
Trade Down
Jahdae Barron, DB
Joshua Simmons (healthy), OT
Will Johnson, CB
Malaki Starks, S
Jihaad Campbell, LB
Will Campell, OL
Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE
Mike Green, EDGE
Kenneth Grant, DT
Ashton Jeanty, RB
Derrick Harmon, DT
Kelvin Banks Jr, OT
