I agree. Damn Azeez signed with an owner that knows how to handle business for ONLY 4 million??? You've gotta be kidding me. Philadelphia loses a bunch of starters and at least they replaced one or two of them with some great talent. We sit there and do nothing and expect to improve in just the draft?
Philly is the new Pats

how did the other 31 teams let them sign Ojulari for only 4 mil?

I bet Justin Simmons signs for less than $5 mil!!! I'm willing to bet he signs for a one year $3 mil contract.

Wishful thinking anyway. I bet they roll with Jason Pinnock as the starter at FS with Mustapha at SS.
It's all but guaranteed that Ojulari took less to build his value with the eagles; best place for him to do it. But if he was looking for a 1 year prove it deal, we couldn't throw 5 or 6 his way? I hope we did and he turned it down. Otherwise, we were just asleep at the wheel

Matt Barrows said that the 9ers weren't interested in Ojulari.

Good. He peaked his rookie year. Probably have 8+ sacks with the iggles though.

Good team and just won the SB

Azeez is not a good starter. He had 6 sacks but every single one was a cleanup sack. He was rated as one of the worst pass rushers in the league last year and is not good vs the run.

Id rather have Sam Okuayinonu who is younger, cheaper and able to set the edge. He had 3 less sacks but more tackles, 1 more pressure and a better pass rushing grade than Azeez.
Floyd better than Ojulari, if we weren't keeping him why would they go after AO when they're bargain hunting...front office / Jed / Paraag seeking free agents (any position) willing to sign for $49.00 nothing more

He played less minutes too and his first year of actually playing in NFL...don't count his time with Dallas, they're not a real team
I don't like either of the guys Philly signed, Ojulari or Uche. Ojulari had no takers last trade deadline, and sits this long in FA and only goes for 4 mil? There's a reason for that. Uche too, always in trade rumors, never traded, and never sticks with a team.

These guys have just packed it in. Pathetic

That will happen when we are paying 86 million dollars to players who aren't on the team anymore

But a lot of that money falls off. It could actually be that the 49ers are simply not interested in most of these players on the market. In a way I can't blame them, it's really not that great this year. I did want Drew Dalman though, hell of a lot better than Brendel. I think the 49ers make trades during the draft and after the draft in June when they'll get more cap space back.
