Lol. Niners are 12th in the league with ~44 million in cap space.
A very good chunk of that is earmarked for the future with purdy
Not this year. We will probably roll over next to 20 million unused cap space into next year, after (hopefully) allowing the the 24 and 25 draft classes to establish a new foundation and the dead cap hits clearing the books.
I'd have rather tried to go all in again...get Greenlaw back, bring in DJ Reed and Jonathan Allen. Grab Dalman.
But to overreact in the other direction and be pissed at the team for destroying our capspace just simply isn't true. We should aim to actually understand what's going on rather than be overly emotional about it.
Half of that will probably end up going to Purdy if not more.

If our defensive line isn't going to get that much pressure this year, then at least sign one more good corner like Asante Samuel Junior. However, I believe the corner we signed from Seattle is that move, at least to our front office, not us as fans. Having a dominant secondary will help the pass rush.

It all depends on how healthy he is, didn't he tear his achillies last year? Or ACL?

The roll over is already accounting for Brock Purdys extension, assuming he gets one (he better get one)

I'd be content with Will Fernandez or Dalton Risner at LG.

Obviously, you don't know anything about football, but that's ok.

I think the FO is comfortable with Bartch and co. at LG

It may be a small upgrade over banks, but I would hope we would get one of those two players as well

I think we will likely explore these options after the draft to see if A) we address it with a rookie and B) when it doesn't count against 2026 comp picks.
