Bucs ain't passing on Chubb lol. Pass rush their #1 need.

Yep, hard to them passing but their secondary is atrocious. They have Grimes and Hargreaves so they would really have to love Ward to take him there. But their safeties are terrible. Conte and Ward could be upgraded for sure! James and Fitzpatrick could come into play right there.

They have Robert Ayers, who is solid, and Noah Spense, who is a good young talent. Also they have McCoy in the middle who offers a good pass rush.

I think this is exactly the reaction Lynch and Co. are hoping for...initially.

If agents think the Niners are a blank check, theyre going to overspend. Everything theyre putting out about "prudence" screams expectation management. That doesnt mean they arent going to make moves eventually.

Local Cards beat guy says that from what he's hearing, most NFL teams are in wait mode as agents are asking for the entire universe right now, teams are being patient, waiting for demands to come down.

I think Watkins will cost a lot less than Robinson. I can see him going for a 1 year deal to get on himself.

Its the smart thing to do if the owners worked together to keep the contract prices down.
