Torrey Smith WR

Exactly the type of deep threat we need, but we'll probably be priced out of his range once FA starts.

I wouldnt want to drop big cash on him anyways. He's good, but the deal he'll sign will be close to elite. Would rather draft a 1st round prospect for a fraction of the cost.

Thats probably what Baltimore is thinking. He's good not great. Draft a talented player to replace him for a fraction of the cost and net a compensatory pick in the process. That's how smart teams run things.
They are not going to get him. With what money? LOL.

So This. Coulda had an AMZING DJACK to open things up with Kaps arm and VD/Boldin down the middle and Gore/Hyde more space wow it coulda been Dynamic.

Jackson confirmed Niners pursued and he thought about the offer but chose Washington instead.

I was actually 100% for signing DJax. He's a far more valuable commodity than Torrey Smith. But Smith will get far more money at this point with the cap as high as it is and being in the prime of his career.

Ok. Andre Johnson. WR problem: solved.

Its not like an odell beckham jr just falls into our laps, we woulda had to given up a ton
If the Niners wanted spend a s*** ton of money on a WR, they should've traded for head case Brandon Marshall. At least then they wouldn't be stuck with the fat part of a giant contract for a player who isn't close to as good as Marshall.

Old man + big money = no thanks (despite talent)
Well Cobb just f*cked up the market for Smith since he got payed by GB that sets the market a little bit hire for Torrey meaning he will beout of our reach since Baalke don't break the bank for no one.

Guess we are stuck with O.J. Simpson (cough cough) i mean Jerome yeah......

We have no idea if he even has another good season in him. Hes about at that point where he will start fading away.

He doesnt exactly have a knack for finding the endzone either. In his last 52 career games, he only has 10 TD's. He went almost a calendar year without a single TD from week 9 of 2013 to week 5 of 2014.

Part of it is the QB situation, but his best years are behind him, and he doesnt get open anymore.
