At this point Franklin is better and gotten better each year as a starter, Henderson is on the decline.

Henderson would be a DE in our defense, not a DT.
I would actually prefer it because it allows Sopoaga to see time at NT and DE. We could continue to groom Sopoaga at NT - work on his technique n such.

I agree but if Sopaga is the back up NT that's 10 million at that position. I don't see them liking that idea at all, but I agree Henderson would be a good addition.

Sopoaga's contract is peanuts now compared to what players are getting paid nowa days. Shoot, Goldson wants 7 mil a season and hes only started one full season. I think Soopag's contract is fit enough to accept a rotational role between NT and DE.

Could be a good fit as a DE in a 3-4 and could rotate with Soaps. Could also play a little NT. I say take a look at him as I do not trust Balmer.

Not sure if we'd be interested but he'd be an upgrade here over Soap and Balmer. Our run defense is pretty solid but Henderson would definitely be able to swallow up blockers to allow our 'backers to get to the QB.
