Rhodes,Shepard,Gholston,strickland to be released by Jets

If Gholston gets released id really like to bring him in. the man was a freak. maybe someone like Sing can help him focus. i mean hes done it with Vernon and Brooks seemed to be coming along. maybe Gholston too?

Cribbs and Rhodes would be so ridiculoid!!! We could play Cribbs at RB.(where I always tht he belonged anyway).

idk, he was a freak in college.

Vernon and Brooks showed their ability in the pros (not consistently though). Thats where I think Coach Sing helped those two out.

Gholston, he really hasnt shown anything

I'd never heard that cited as a possible reason for Rhodes' release before, but if we can sign Dre Bly at CB, than I can see signing Rhodes at FS.

That is surprising to hear from the Jets so we will see.

Strick is a solid player but he always gets hurt, some guys just can't stay healthy.

Just setting here thinking about it there roster is loaded with high priced players. Look at all those FA's and they have a high number of 1st round draft picks on there roster.

Gholston would be an interesting reclamation project just like Ahmad Brooks.

Obviously I disagree.

People are willing to spend a 1st on Spiller who would serve mainly as a returner for the most part in the beginning.

People are willing to spend a 1st on Earl Thomas with one of our 1sts.

Getting a proven safety who statistically have been a top 5 safety for the past 3 years. 2nd, 4th and 5th. Then we would also get the best returner in the game.

2 birds with one stone.

You must have misinterpreted what I said. When I said "3 way trades don't happen," that doesnt mean "A 3 way trade has never happened in the history of the league" or "Its not possible to do a 3 way trade."

It means 'Usually, 3 way trades don't happen."

Which is correct, considering you were only able to scrap up two examples out of countless trades that have happened.

OK! well hitting on all of your draft picks Usually doesn't happen either. But you wouldn't know it by looking at comments from all the mocks you see around here.


But back to the 3 way trade thing. I know it's very unlikely we land either of those guys via trade. So I know the probabilities of getting both via a 3 team trade is almost non existent. The point is it can happen.

BTW I only searched for 2 minutes to come up with my examples. All recent examples. With one example coming less than 12 months ago with 2 different teams trying to propose their own 3 way trade.

I do agree that it's unrealistic to expect such a trade to happen. As I said in my original post. I would love to see this happen.
