Every time you go to My Team page - you can se the limits. It's been there since day 1. Dont think you should feel bad.

The league was supposed to be at the same exact settings as last year. That is how i played the league and i did it so well that i would have swept all pitching categories. Having me lose 2 weeks of stats is total bs.

If there was a change feom last year THAT should have been declared. But it wasnt so the rules should be the same. If anyone REALLY saw the 2000 limit why would that not be questioned since it was a pretty important change

Let's do an official league vote. We already know where 4ML, myself, Boise, and redrose stand...but I need everyone else to weigh in.

I just think its very questionable that people played in this league last year where there were no limits and never said anything when they supposidly saw a new limit 0f 2000 innings. I mean, why wouldnt anyone ask the question as to why there was a new rule this year. Wouldnt they want clarification? It would be MUCH more likely that someone would say nothing if they assumed that the rules were exactly the same and that the commissioner never made a statement regarding a change.

SO while Boise and 4ML may have tailored their strategy to the 2000 innings, I did the same thing with no limit. As for Rose, who knows what he was doing. More like doing nothing .

Well I honestly don't remember a conversation about limited #'s in here, both for or against. So I would say the current settings only because 4ML and Boise (and I assume others) both said they played that way based off the settings on the page, which I also viewed and thought existed.

I will say that John tried to make a pitching change with me a month ago and he mentioned he was trying to sweep the pitching categories so I believe he played based off last years settings.

Of course I did. Moist can also tell you that I sent him a PM last week wondering where he had disapeared to because he had stopped making pitching moves and he had a real chance to finish in 5th. Unless a change is specificed at the start of a league the assumption is that everything is the same as the previous year.

BOTTOM LINE.. Crzy messed up and it is going to screw someone. Given that Crzy already changed it back to removed me from Asst Commish I guess i know who that person will be.
Well it's my first year here and I really don't know all the ins and outs of the league but I would have to favor the settings at the start of this year.

I take all of you (John, 4ML, and Boise) at face value when you tell me that were acting under what you thought were the league settings.

Like John said, it's obvious that there's no solution to this where someone isn't screwed. And so the pragmatic thing is to pick the choice in which the fewest number of people are screwed over.

John, I've already refunded you your $60 buy-in out of pocket via paypal.

We will revisit the remainder once the season ends and figure out what to do from there. The league settings are locked unless a majority (>50%) of league owners think they should be changed.

Also, I will not be commissioner of this league next year, but I will still participate.

Is there anyway you top three guys can work this out? I realize it's a competition but I think crzy might need some help here.
crzy, you are good in my books man. Running these leagues is hard work, which is why nobody volunteers to do it.

Crzy. You made ONE mistake but overall you do a great job and I would want you to continue. As always, I will assist and do a better job of checking the settings to make sure they are accurate.

I am upset that this will likely cost me 2nd although 1st was still even a possibility. Now 3rd seems shakly. HOWEVER, it was a human error and I know you didnt do it intentionally.

The best thing that happened to the leagues is when you came back to run them. Dont let this change that .

Cool. I appreciate the vote of confidence. I thought it was right that I at least offer to step down. But if you guys are cool with me continuing then I'm willing to

Without any changes its pretty likley that Boise was going to win, I was going to come in 2nd, and I think Sac would have likely going to finish 3rd. 4ML may have gotten close but he would have come up short. Now, Sac will probably finish 2nd and it will be close for 3rd. I just dont know how things can be worked out because of 4ML. If he didnt have a slight possibility for the money I would suggest that Sac and me just split 2nd and 3rd place money.

Hell yeah. I am the commissioner of a few leagues myself and I've learned a lot from your patience and level headed decision making.
