Give up Ryan Matthews to get DeMarco Murray?

Give up Ryan Matthews to get DeMarco Murray?

I was just offered DeMarco Murray for Ryan Matthews. The trade won't go through until after this weekend, though, so I would still get to start Matthews one more time.

What do you guys think? Is Murray or Matthews more likely to turn their season around?

If it helps, my other RBs are McFadden, McGahee, and Benson in a 12 teamer.
Some fool in my league dropped Matthews a couple of weeks ago.

I would trade him for Murray.
Hmmm. I probably would.
murray
I would keep Mathews. Just me though. He's easing his way back on the field.

Take it for what it's worth. I AM 1-3 in one of my $$ leagues
I'd do it, but I wouldn't want to rely on either to be more than a slot player.
Personally, I don't like your RB's. The only one I'd want starting is McGahee. (Murray would be my 2nd favorite)

I have both in my money league and dont like either of them at this point. but hold out more hope for Mathews asa he really hasn't had a chance to be the back you expected where as murray has and that oline is pathetic. So for me i'd prefer mathews.
I would take Murray over Mathews especially if it is a PPR league.

Ya id take Murray over Matthews also

I'm kind of hoping that either Murray or DMC will have a good game or two so I can trade them for a legit WR.

Then I can trade Welker for Gore, which I know will possible (the guy who has Gore has made that clear) unless Welker screws up again. But I doubt that since everyone else is hurt.

Then, by the time everyone in NE is healthy and Welker is about to suck again, I'll have Gore and a legit WR.

I a lot of ifs, I know.....

What are you all smoking?

Murray has had 3 good games as an NFL runningback.

He is unproven.

Mathews is a proven top 10 fantasy runningback.... and he is more versatile of a player.

Mathews all day.

Really? Murray averaged 5.5 yards per carry last year. Mathews has never gone over 5. Murray has fumbled twice in his career. Mathews is one of the biggest fumblers in the league. 11 times in just 28 games. Mathews is certainly NOT a proven top 10 fantasy back at this point. Maybe he will be at some point but he hasnt proven to be yet.

Mathews is an injury prone fumbling machine
I know Murray broke his ankle last year but his injuries aren't chronic injuries like Ryan Mathews

I don't think you can go wrong with either one but id take Murray over Mathews in fantasy this year

Murray has had injuries since college... all ankle/foot.

Mathews was a top 10 fantasy back last year..... so IMO he is better than Murray. Yeah, he has fumble problems but I dont think thats gonna be a problem - we will see.

Also only lost 2 fumbles last year.
