Big difference between not setting your lineups and not making moves to pick up pitchers. I think you have to put a player in at every position if possible. It may not be your BEST player though.
To me its like any pro teams out of contention at end of year. They play someone on their roster but it doesnt have to be the stars. That isnt tanking. Now, it would be wrong if you simply didnt put your players in at all.
....and I'd be finding a replacement manager for that team

Picked up Staily and then somehow left him on the bench. That is going to be the move that makes me miss out on playoffs. Oh well. Fitting for this team anyway.
