Originally posted by Joecool:Here's a fantasy football story for you. We have a league with 4 divisions and 2 conferences. Original rules were that 3 teams from each conference must make the playoffs. Well, one owner realized, mid-year, that he would not make the playoffs under this format so he petitioned to have the best 6 teams make the playoffs. Other owners also decided we should do a vote. So league manager (me) did a poll and it got voted through, which is fine with me. This owner has been trying other things to get more leverage for himself also and I know him personally and he is a dick but most of the owners don't know him. He also got super pissed that one of his trades got vetoed.
Fast-forward to this week: championship week. We have league rules that if you are not in the money, you do not touch the waiver wire. This dick owner is in the championship game and his team is not favored to win. The money winnings are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. My team is fighting for the 3rd place money so I hit up the waiver wire. This dude gets angry and complains to all the owners that since there are only two teams remaining, only those two teams should be allowed to hit the wire and no other team. Remember, his team isn't favored to win. Me and the other guy fighting for 3rd money end up having to highlight the rule that says we can. What does the d******d do?
He drops all of the players he can from his team and says he's done. Talk about b***h-ass childish drama. We are trying to figure out what is the best way to handle this. I want to hold integrity of the league for next year so I have decided that he would have been no worse than 2nd place and will consider him going rogue as a forfeit and send him 2nd place money. His opponent gets 1st. Only important matchup this week is for 3rd.

I usually have a rule when it comes to lineup decisions. Go with your gut and dont look back. Last year i didn't do that and it cost me a championship.
But WTF is a Tyler Heinicke?

Melvin was a major stud all season, but coming off an injury AND with his toughest match up of the year, I'm nervous. Carson has come through whenever I've needed him and has a cupcake matchup.
My other RB is McCaffrey. He's playing. Non PPR. Thank y'all.
