This list will grow as the 2021 NFL Draft quickly approaches. The San Francisco 49ers have been meeting with potential draft selections, both virtually and in-person, since January. NFL teams are permitted to physically host only a limited number of prospects, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A vast majority of the interviews will be conducted virtually.

NFL teams will not hold local pro days due to the pandemic.

Below is a breakdown of the known meetings between draft prospects and 49ers representatives, as reported by various media sources. The representatives could be members of the coaching staff, front office, and/or team scouts. The 49ers' draft picks and scheduled interviews are listed first.

Dates (if known) of the meeting or workout are listed in addition to who is believed to have first reported the news.

Please check back often for updates.

49ers Draft Picks (9 entering draft)

  • Round 1, Pick 3
  • Round 2, Pick 11, 43 overall
  • Round 3, Pick 39, 102 overall (compensatory pick)
  • Round 4, Pick 12, 117 overall
  • Round 5, Pick 11, 155 overall
  • Round 5, Pick 28, 172 overall (from NO)
  • Round 5, Pick 36, 180 overall (compensatory pick)
  • Round 6, Pick 10, 194 overall
  • Round 7, Pick 2, 230 overall (from NYJ)

The 49ers acquired the No. 3 overall selection via a March 26 trade with the Miami Dolphins, surrendering their own first-rounder in each of the next three drafts and a third-rounder next year.

San Francisco received its third-round compensatory pick via the NFL's minority-hiring program after the New York Jets hired former 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh as their head coach. San Francisco sent its own third-round pick to Washington last year in the trade for offensive tackle Trent Williams.

The loss of wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders last year resulted in the fifth-round compensatory pick.

San Francisco received a fifth-round pick from the New Orleans Saints as part of the trade of linebacker Kwon Alexander and a seventh-round pick from the New York Jets as part of the trade for defensive end Jordan Willis.

The 49ers lost their seventh-round pick due to the Marquise Goodwin trade.
