Upon Further Review: The 49ers Head to the Clink

Good news: the 49ers didn't lose last week.

Excuse the bad joke but I'm still jet-lagging.

Regardless of that I have re-joined AJ on our video podcasts this week as we look forward to this Sunday's game on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. In here we discuss key matchups against the Seahawks, we what expect out of Blaine Gabbert this Sunday, and our prediction for the game.

I'm also defiantly disagreeing with AJ on about half the games this week. Here are our picks for all games in Week 11 of the NFL as we look at the spreads.

Film From the Field House: How the 49ers Can Rebound to Beat the Jets

By Bret Rumbeck
Sep 17, 2020

The start of the 2020 NFL season has not been kind to the San Francisco 49ers. During the first half of the Week 1 game against the Arizona Cardinals, tight end George Kittle suffered a sprained knee and went into the locker room early. He finished the game but had no catches in the second half. On September 16, 2020, the 49ers kept him out of practice and noted he would likely not practice on Thursday or Friday. Shortly after the Kittle news, the team announced that cornerback Richard Sherman would miss three

After last week's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers are looking to rebound and chalk up that first win of the season. It has been a difficult week as the team dealt with the loss, but also in the health department as the injury bug has reared its ugly head early and often. The offense was hampered by the losses of Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and Richie James Jr. at receiver, Ben Garland and Weston Richburg at center, and perhaps most importantly, George Kittle at tight end. Free agent receiver Mohamed Sanu was signed this week to shore up the receiver corps. While the loss of Kittle is never good,

Who will step up for the 49ers in Week 2?

By Michael Cataldo
Sep 19, 2020

With multiple starters out tomorrow versus the Jets, there's no surprise that the 49ers' depth will be tested. Here are 3 players who will step up to propel the 49ers to their first win of the season. 1. Ross Dwelley Ross Dwelley did well filling in for George Kittle when the latter missed a few games in 2019, including 2 touchdowns against the Cardinals. Jordan Reed will undoubtedly be more involved, but I'd expect Ross Dwelley to be more engaged in both the run and pass game. Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman should be featured all game long, setting up easy play action passes to Dwelley. Prediction: 4 catches for 45 yards, 1 TD 2. Emmanuel Moseley Expect Emmanuel Moseley to rebound from Week 1's
