49ers will hold joint practices with Broncos, Texans

San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly announced today that the team would hold joint practices with the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos prior to each exhibition matchup.


Those practices will take place on August 12 (with Texans) and August 17 and 18 (with Broncos).

The 49ers play the Texans at home on Sunday, August 14 to open up the preseason. They face the Broncos on the road the following week on Saturday, August 20.

The 49ers held a joint practice with the Broncos in Denver last season as well. The 49ers' complete 2016 schedule can be found here.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters after the team's 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. He provided injury updates from the game.
