49ers, Seahawks show interest in RB Tyler Ervin at San Jose State pro day

The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks were the two teams that showed the most interest in San Jose State RB Tyler Ervin at the Spartans' pro day today, per Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.


In 2015 alone, Ervin rushed for 1,601 yards on 294 carries with 13 touchdowns including a school record 300 yards against Fresno State. He also had 334 yards on 45 receptions with two touchdowns.

On Monday, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan jumped on a conference call with reporters and provided several injury updates following Sunday's 19-12 Divisional Round playoff win over the Dallas Cowboys. The coach mentioned three players. Two were already known, based on post-game information. However, the third is a new development. First, the known injuries. Charles Omenihu suffered an oblique strain that briefly forced the defensive end to exit the game.
