Fast food franchise McDonald's may have crossed the line with their latest commercial that promotes their Game Time Gold sweepstakes. San Francisco 49ers fans may need to sit down for this one. The commercial, titled 'Jerry's Flowers', features 49ers legend Jerry Rice in a Dallas Cowboys jersey and watering a bed of flowers ... patterned like the Cowboy's logo. A fan covers the eyes of his son as the two walk by and witness the football blasphemy.

Thanks McDonald's. I think I threw up a little in my mouth. Watch it if you dare.

It's time to get some endorsement deals, right, Trey Lance? The San Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback appeared in an online advertisement with a Hall of Fame wide receiver and NFL legend, the one-and-only Jerry Rice. The ad features Lance traveling to meet with the NFL's greatest receiver of all time and Bay Area icon, throwing some passes to Rice, and eating some Chipotle. "Just got to be ready when my name is called," Lance told Rice when asked how he is feeling about everything. Lance is slated to be the backup quarterback to veteran Jimmy Garoppolo. The San Francisco 49ers held a practice this morning at 10:40 a.m. in Santa Clara, and many eyes were on the status of rookie quarterback Trey Lance's hand. He suffered a small fracture in a finger on his throwing hand during the team's preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders on August 29. An opposing defender's helmet hit the quarterback's hand. "He ended up having a small chip on his finger, so he's going to be out about seven days," head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters the day after the game. This morning, Lance stepped onto the practice field without the splint around his index finger or a wrap surrounding his right hand.
