According to NFL Network's Rand Getlin, Terrelle Pryor is scheduled to work out at wide receiver with the San Francisco 49ers today.

Pryor has experience at quarterback. Right now, the only quarterbacks on the active roster are Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert. Dylan Thompson is on the team's practice squad.

Pryor started his career with the Oakland Raiders, but has spent time during the offseasons or practice squads with the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cleveland Browns.

It wasn't supposed to end like this. But in the end, what did you expect? This is who the 49ers are. Not a bad team, no. God, no. If that's what you think after watching an NFFCG collapse, I humbly request you consider this game tomorrow. A week from now. With a bit of distance, tracing the arc of the whole season. That still doesn't change the fact that this game was ugly. It was horrific. No, it was worse - a farce. This was Kyle Shanahan trying to bluff an invading army with a tea party out in the open. There's no blame to be laid at his feet here. Maybe against another army, a team less consistently aggressive and outside of its home turf. It's just not a strategy that works against Nick Sirianni's Eagles. Playoff football is a game of

All things being equal, the San Francisco 49ers probably had a decent chance to compete against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, possibly earning a return trip to the Super Bowl. Do you smell that? It's playoff football. It's a time to celebrate. For a few more precious hours, every team in the tournament still has life, still has reason to hope. There are no more guaranteed games, but there's football to be played, and right now is the time to exult in it. No matter who you root for, you can imagine your team finding a way to win, a way to keep playing football, and filling your February with excitement and joy. Right now, there's nothing standing between your team and glory except the vagaries of chance and a well-fought effort this weekend, and hopefully the next. And for those of you who aren't rooting for a team that's made it this far, never fear. 7 of the 14 playoff entrants this year didn't make it into the dance last year. The
