49ers did not offer Turner more money

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco head coach Mike Nolan confirmed that the 49ers did not offer offensive coordinator Norv Turner more money to stay with the team.

"We are not going to compete with Dallas from a monetary standpoint,'' said Nolan.

Turner is one of the final candidates expected to be announced as Dallas' head coach on Monday.
