First look: Kaepernick in Madden NFL 15

On Wednesday, EA SPORTS released the first photo from their upcoming Madden NFL 15 video game, scheduled to be released on August 26.

The photo features San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and looks pretty impressive.

Kaepernick signed a new 6-year, $126 million contract with the 49ers on Wednesday.

Colin Kaepernick partners with ESPN, Disney on docuseries; first project to include time with 49ers

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick hasn't played a snap of football since the 2016 season. He has been busy, though, working to generate more awareness surrounding racism and social injustice. Netflix announced last week that it is working on a six-episode series with Kaepernick called "Colin in Black & White," which focuses on the high school life of the former 49ers quarterback. 'Colin in Black & White' series based on ex-49ers QB Kaepernick headed to Netflix

A new scripted series based on the high school life of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is headed to streaming giant Netflix, according to Vanity Fair. Titled Colin in Black & White, the six-episode series is being created by Kaepernick and Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay. It will explore the "foundation of Kaepernick's budding activism," reports Vanity Fair. That, of course, led to the controversy in 2016 when Kaepernick started peacefully protesting against social injustice during the national anthem before NFL games.
