While speaking with reporters after Sunday's playoff win, head coach Kyle Shanahan wasn't sure when his San Francisco 49ers would face the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round next weekend. He does now. The NFL announced that the Packers will host the 49ers at Lambeau Field on Saturday, January 22, at 5:15 p.m. PT (8:15 p.m. ET). The game will be televised on FOX. It's a rematch of the Week 3 contest between the two teams—a 30-28 Packers victory at Levi's Stadium. "I'm ready," defensive tackle D.J. Jones said after the 49ers' 23-17 win over the Cowboys. "Not right now, but we will be. We definitely will be. They're a great team, obviously, but

As expected, it looks like both Jimmy Garoppolo and Fred Warner will be on the field for the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night at Lambeau Field. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan sounded optimistic that Bosa and Thomas would be available against the Green Bay Packers. "We've got to put him on there because of the steps of the [concussion] protocol, but it's looking good," Shanahan said of Bosa. Garoppolo is still dealing with the torn ligament in his right thumb, an injury that

There's a lot to unpack from Saturday night's memorable 13-10 win for the San Francisco 49ers over the Green Bay Packers, but some of the biggest news to surface since that game came to an end involves the legendary quarterback the 49ers faced in their latest playoff victory—and the one they could face next week. Keep in mind there are still a lot of unknowns here, including (as of Sunday morning) whether or not the 49ers will even get this opportunity when they battle in the NFC Championship next Sunday (6:40 p.m. ET/3:40 p.m. PT, FOX). But based on what Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Saturday night to go with what's been reported about Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady over the past 24 hours, it's not incorrect to say the 49ers could conceivably be the team to
