WR Emmanuel Sanders will visit 49ers on Saturday

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Pittsburgh Steelers free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is scheduled to visit with the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.

Sanders, who is 26 years old, was drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Steelers. He had 114 catches for 1,521 yards and 5 touchdowns during his four seasons with the team.

This will be Sanders' fourth visit with a team. He has already visited the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and is currently visiting with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 1 contest against the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Trey Lance continues to look good throwing footballs during the portions of practice that are open to the media. The rookie quarterback is recovering from a chipped bone in his finger, an injury suffered on August 29 against the Las Vegas Raiders. For now, things appear to be trending in the direction of Lance being available on Sunday. He was limited today. No brace, no splinter, no problem it appears for QB Trey Lance ahead of Week 1.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch joined KNBR's Murph & Mac show this morning. He provided a couple of important Week 1 updates surrounding two defensive players. Lynch was first asked about defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, who has missed practices due to a knee injury. Although, he was limited on Thursday, which was an upgrade.
