The San Francisco 49ers would love to find another tight end to complement George Kittle on the football field. Their attempts last year saw them draft two tight ends—Cameron Latu and Brayden Willis. However, neither saw significant playing time, with Willis logging just 48 offensive snaps, while Latu landed on injured reserve before the season began. While head coach Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers coaches are absent, general manager John Lynch and his staff are in Indianapolis this week for the NFL Scouting Combine, evaluating prospects ahead of April's draft.
