49ers never offered Dashon Goldson a contract

Mindi Bach of CSN Bay Area is reporting that, according to a league source, the San Francisco 49ers never offered free agent safety Dashon Goldson a contract. Perhaps they were expecting to part ways with Goldson.


Goldson was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Last season, Goldson had 69 tackles, 3 interceptions and a forced fumble for the 49ers.
