Norris had short time to study playbook

Chrissy Mauck, of SF49ers.com, reports San Francisco 49ers FB Moran Norris had only one week to study the offensive playbook before taking the field for the first time at the start of the June organized team activities. "As soon as I got the playbook, I was in it," said Norris. "It's an every day thing for me right now. You have to use your time wisely and you have to stay up on it. If you slack off and don't stick with it every day, you can really get behind on learning the offense."
