Parrish out with leg injury

Chrissy Mauck of 49ers.com reports San Francisco 49ers SS Tony Parrish (leg) is still out with a leg injury.

Battle limited in practice

49ers WR Arnaz Battle (knee) was limited in practice Saturday, May 6, but his knee does not appear to be slowing him down any. Battle said, "My knee feels really good out there and it's just exciting to be part of this offense."

Nolan wants C. Williams to lose 10 pounds

PFF ranks Trent Williams as the NFL's best tackle

Ranking season has kicked off over at Pro Football Focus. Brock Purdy recently came in at No. 23 in the analytics site's ranking of NFL quarterbacks. Now, Pro Football Focus has turned its attention to offensive tackles. While there are some question marks along the San Francisco 49ers' offensive line, left tackle is not one of them. Trent Williams has earned a grade of 91.9 or higher in each of his three seasons with the 49ers, including a career-high and Pro Football Focus all-time best mark of 97.8 in 2021. The 34-year-old has been the highest-graded tackle in each season



49ers' Trey Lance finally past finger injury that held him back

The San Francisco 49ers concluded their second day of organized team activities(OTAs) on Tuesday, which was the first practice open to media, where quarterbacks Trey Lance, Brock Purdy, and Sam Darnold all spoke with the media following an exciting return to the practice field. Lance took all of the first-team reps, while Darnold had all of the second-team reps, although head coach Kyle Shanahan shared that the team will likely even them out as OTAs continue along. Following practice, Lance spoke with the media, detailing his recent rehab process and mindset heading into his third NFL season, but an emphasis was placed on the finger injury that the quarterback sustained during his rookie season that proved to be a bigger hindrance than many realized at the

Kyle Shanahan feels "really fortunate" with 49ers' QB room

Kyle Shanahan praises his quarterback room every year. Last season, the San Francisco 49ers went through three starting quarterbacks and still made it to the NFC Championship Game. Trey Lance was the Week 1 starter but suffered a season-ending ankle injury during his second game. Eleven weeks later, Jimmy Garoppolo sustained a broken foot. That opened the door for rookie Brock Purdy to show his coaches and the NFL world that he belonged, despite being the last overall pick in the draft. Purdy guided the 49ers to eight consecutive wins before suffering a severe injury in that NFC title game matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
