According to Scout.com, the first impression at San Francisco 49ers minicamp was that Eric Johnson and rookie tight end Vernon Davis aren't exactly going to be friends.

“Of course, I wasn’t cheering them on for it,” said Johnson when asked about the selection of Davis.

“There might be room for two tight ends here, you never know. It all depends on who works the hardest, who really wants it,” said Davis.
