49ers Notebook: Talanoa Hufanga, James Conner get into postgame fracas; Almost-perfect Brock Purdy laments one that got away; LeBron shows love to McCaffrey
By Kirk Larrabee

Following the San Francisco 49ers' 35-16 victory over the Arizona Cardinals at Levi's Stadium on Sunday, there was at least one member of the visiting team who seemed to be ready to scrap.
Cardinals running back James Conner was seen on camera after the game getting physical with 49ers safety Talanoa Hufanga, although it remains unclear what caused the altercation.
Television cameras filmed Conner and Hufanga in a heated argument after the game, during which Conner put his hand on Hufanga's chin and gave him a shove. 49ers tight end George Kittle and Cardinals offensive lineman Keith Ismael then stood between the two players in order to prevent any further

Cowboys' Johnathan Hankins on clash with 49ers: "I definitely think this is the year we get them"
By David Bonilla

Johnathan Hankins has only been with the Dallas Cowboys since last season, after the Las Vegas Raiders traded him. He spent some time after that on injured reserve but was activated in time for Dallas' playoff bout with the San Francisco 49ers.
Hankins has heard the chatter around the locker room. His team is eager for Sunday's matchup in Santa Clara.
The 49ers have ousted the Cowboys from the playoffs for the past two seasons, and Dallas is growing weary of the recurring narrative about their struggle to overcome this one-time bitter rival. It's a rivalry that may be starting to regain some of its 90s form.

McCaffrey has become the focal point on a star-studded offense and is proving on a weekly basis that he is more than worthy of the price the 49ers paid to acquire him (a second, a third, a fourth, and a fifth-round pick) from the Carolina Panthers on October 20,

49ers WR Deebo Samuel's status appears to be trending up ahead of Week 4
By Rohan Chakravarthi
Sep 30
The San Francisco 49ers announced their weekly practice squad elevations, sharing that wide receiver Willie Snead and cornerback Kendall Sheffield will be called up to the active roster for their Week 4 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
With the announcement that Snead would be called up, one may assume that 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel's status would be trending down, as the 49ers expect to add another wideout to the active roster for Week 4.
However, it's actually the opposite.
Looking at the injury report, the 49ers aren't at risk of just missing Samuel, but
