'He's putting on a show': Raheem Mostert calls Trent Williams a difference-maker for 49ers

By David Bonilla

San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert is probably looking forward to running to the left side this season. That's where new offensive tackle Trent Williams, a 320-pound behemoth, will line up. Don't let his size fool you. The 49ers' newest big-man is one of the most athletic offensive linemen in the league and can get downfield in a hurry, if needed. That has Mostert excited for the possibilities. "It's new turf, new field turf. It's always pretty tricky to play on until it's nice and -- not beat up, but nice and worn down and

By David Bonilla
Sep 7, 2020

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch said on Sunday that wide receiver Deebo Samuel "has a shot" to play this weekend against the Arizona Cardinals. Lynch said something similar about three other players' chances of practicing on Wednesday. They are Brandon Aiyuk, Ben Garland, and Kyle Juszczyk, who have each been hindered by injuries. "Hopeful," Lynch said Sunday morning of their chances to get on the practice field. "They're out here as we speak training and working really hard. I think on Wednesday, the first injury report comes. But those guys are all working and have a chance, so we'll see where it goes." All three players suffered their injuries
