Redskins on the verge of signing Morgan

According to Adam Schefter, the Washington Redskins, who just signed receiver Pierre Garcon, are on the verge of signing San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Joshua Morgan.

Morgan is from Washington D.C. and played at Virginia Tech.

Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle gives an interesting stat on Morgan.

In their final 9 games together, Alex Smith had a 125.7 rating when targeting Joshua Morgan. (28 of 36, 482 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT).

By now, most have heard about Jimmy Garoppolo's offseason vanishing acts. Tight end George Kittle has called him the "worst texter of all time," saying that even he has difficulty getting a hold of the San Francisco 49ers quarterback outside of team-organized activities.
