The Texans are coming off of a 27-14 win over the New Orleans Saints while the 49ers are coming off of a 17-3 win over the Oakland Raiders.

This has been a mess of an offseason for the Houston Texans. Team representatives repeatedly stated that they have no intention of trading disgruntled quarterback Deshaun Watson. Watson has stated that he has no desire to play for Houston anymore. Texans brass has even reportedly ignored calls from interested teams. Was that all a ploy, though? San Francisco 49ers projected 2021 depth chart: Post-draft

How will the 49ers' depth chart look as the NFL Draft moves on? That's a question we'll attempt to answer here. It's a bit difficult at this time of the year to accurately project a depth chart, given how many players are new to the team, how many will come and go in the weeks ahead, and how many positions may shift down the line. There's an awful lot of guesswork going on here, but we'll give it a try based on who is on the roster at the moment. The 49ers will release their first unofficial depth chart at some point in the weeks or months ahead. Like most of us, NFL Network analyst and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner doesn't know for sure which player the 49ers will choose when the time comes to reveal their selection at pick three of the 2021 NFL Draft. But he does have a personal preference for that pick, along with some thoughts on what factors the 49ers have been weighing throughout the decision-making process.
