Next week, the team will host the Philadelphia Eagles at Candlestick Park.

Injury-stricken 49ers fall in Week 3 power rankings after win vs. Jets

The San Francisco 49ers got their first win of the season on Sunday, beating the New York Jets 31-13, but it was at a great cost. The team lost two defensive linemen, Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas, for the remainder of the season due to torn ACLs. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle), and running backs Raheem Mostert (knee) and Tevin Coleman (knee) could miss time due to injuries. San Francisco was already without cornerback Richard Sherman (calf) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel (foot). It's been a rough start for the defending NFC champions, who are bringing in Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah to help offset at least some of the defensive losses.
