One of the more requested pieces of information is the an Francisco 49ers' 2009 list of opponents.

The following list contains the 49ers' 2009 home and away opponents. The team will face six playoff opponents, facing Arizona, Atlanta, Tennessee, Minnesota, Philadelphia, and Indianapolis.

Home: Arizona, St. Louis, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Tennessee

Away: Arizona, St. Louis, Seattle, Green Bay, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Houston, Indianapolis

The 49ers will travel to Green Bay this year and also to Houston to face the Texans, who, like San Francisco, finished the 2008 season very strong.

The full schedule with dates and times will not be released until April. Last year, it was released on Tuesday, April 15th.

The NFL revealed its 272-game 2024 regular-season schedule on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. PT. NFL Kickoff Weekend will commence on Thursday, September 5. The season will culminate with Super Bowl 59 on February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The San Francisco 49ers open their regular season at home against the New York Jets on "Monday Night Football." Their first road game comes during Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings, with the team slated to participate in six prime-time matchups this year. This morning, ESPN announced that the San Francisco 49ers would kick off their 2024 regular season with a Monday Night Football showdown against the New York Jets at Levi's Stadium. Several storylines add intrigue to this matchup, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers' quest to defeat the team that has bested him in all four postseason meetings and Jets head coach Robert Saleh facing his former boss, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan. It's already confirmed that the San Francisco 49ers will kick off their 2024 regular season at home against the New York Jets on "Monday Night Football." However, that Week 1 matchup won't be the only time head coach Kyle Shanahan's team takes the spotlight on Monday night.
