According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Arkansas wide receiver Jadon Haselwood was among the many draft prospects who visited with the San Francisco 49ers. The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off Thursday, and NFL.com projects Haselwood as a priority free agent.
Haselwood played most of his collegiate career with Oklahoma but transferred to Arkansas for his final year because of the departure of head coach Lincoln Riley.
Haselwood led the Razorbacks with 59 receptions for 702 yards and three touchdowns through 12 game appearances as a senior in 2022, per
Sports Reference. He caught 121 passes for 1,438 yards with 10 touchdowns through his four collegiate seasons.
"Big possession target requiring work from the slot to create catch opportunities," Lance Zierlein wrote within the
player's NFL.com scouting report. "Haselwood has good size and the strength to make contested catches underneath, but he lacks the speed or separation burst to uncover and stay open against NFL man coverage. His testing could make a difference for him, but a lack of special teams experience could hurt his cause to make it as a WR5/6."
Haselwood is from Atlanta, GA. He earned a pre-draft grade of 5.63 from NFL.com, which equates to a "chance to make a roster or practice squad," per the site's 8-point grading scale.
At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6' 2 1/4" and 215-pound Haselwood had a 40-time of 4.66 seconds, a vertical jump of 37 inches, a broad jump of 123 inches, a 6.98-second three-cone drill time, and a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.31 seconds. His other measurables include an arm length of 31 1/4 inches and hands measuring 10 inches.

"I wouldn't think so," Shanahan responded. "I mean, I know he was hurting a little bit, but he was able to play through it, so I think I'll be all right."
The coach mentioned two other players in his post-game injury report.
"[CB Ambry] Thomas, he had a knee," Shanahan said. "He was in and out. After that, [CB Deommodore

49ers' Nick Bosa: I needed a couple of games to get back into football shape
Nick Bosa hasn't reached an opposing quarterback yet this season after recording an NFL-leading 18.5 sacks last season. Some of that may be the San Francisco defensive end getting warmed up.
Bosa missed all of training camp and the preseason while holding out for a new contract. He finally returned to the 49ers after a six-week absence and just days before the team's Week 1 matchup. The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year has recorded two tackles and two assists in two games.
The 49ers enter a short week. They host the New York Giants at Levi's Stadium on Thursday, the team's home opener. Is the 49ers pass rusher worried about the quick turnaround?
"I'm not too concerned about it," Bosa told reporters after the

The first half of Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams ended with Brock Purdy keeping the football for a quarterback sneak into the end zone, tying the game 17-17. It was a play that gave the Niners a lot of momentum against their division rivals.
