49ers at Rams, Week 8 predictions: Fans predict Niners earn season sweep

The Los Angeles Rams are set to host the San Francisco 49ers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, October 30 at 1:25 p.m. PT. Each week, the 49ers Webzone staff predicts the winner within its annual NFL Pick 'em contest. That includes writers and forum moderators.

This week, five of seven participating staff members selected the 49ers to beat the Rams. San Francisco is currently a one-point favorite.

As for all the fans who are taking part in our NFL Pick 'em contest, 79 percent have the 49ers winning the game, as of this post.

Of all the Week 8 game predictions, the most lopsided result comes from Sunday's matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills. Voting has 99 percent of fans believing the Bills will earn the victory.

When it comes to the predictions, the closest matchup is between the Washington Commanders and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, with 52 percent selecting the Colts to win the game.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech. The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday. Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick.
