With the San Francisco 49ers' home opener against the Seattle Seahawks right around the corner, I had the chance to check out the 49ers' concession showcase in partnership with Levy. It's always a great opportunity to check out new food selections and local vendors being added into the mix for this upcoming season.

Executive Chef "Kitchen QB" Jon Severson was on hand to showcase the menu with a colorful red-and-gold display featuring foods from both general concessions and concession partners. Prior to partnering with Levi's Stadium, Severson brings nearly 20 years of experience working with NFL, NBA, and NFL venues across the country in the culinary field. Stevenson was also a part of The Skillet group with chef Josh Henderson.

General concessions included Silva as the 49ers' new hot dog vendor along with a variety of new nachos selections by Tostitos. Throughout the season, ticket-holders can also look forward to a rotating menu of creative items by Doritos and Fritos. Example? How about Fritos and barbeque pork belly nachos? Food for thought.

Concession partners were showcased with a variety of cuisines. Super Duper Burgers, Burgess Brothers, and Tony G's Slice House were on full display with burgers, hot links, and pizza. Notably, Tony G's Slice House introduced the Gold Rush pizza—a Sicilian-style pizza topped with gold rush toppings (including pepperoni and applewood-smoked bacon). Local Mexican cuisine Puesto was added into the mix, featuring quesabirria tacos and potato taquitos. On the sweeter side, local favorite Psycho Donuts featured a variety of 49ers-themed donuts while Cream + Sugar ice cream offered mini ice cream sandwiches.

Launched last season, season ticket holders can continue to enjoy the benefits of the Member Inclusive Menu. This menu provides all season ticket members with core food and drinks for FREE on game days. Items include hot dogs, nachos, chicken tenders, pretzels, fries, popcorn, and candy. Over 300K concessions items were distributed for $1.9 million in free concessions.

Lastly, the 49ers unveiled a nice surprise with the opening of The Golden Road Pub, a clubhouse pub that was previously occupied by Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak & Pub. In partnership with Golden Road Brewing, will be the go-to pub with a rotating menu of barbeque items on the menu on game day. The Golden Road Pub is open to everyone on game day.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters via a conference call on Monday, the day after the team's 11-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. Here is everything he had to say. Transcript provided by the San Francisco 49ers Communications staff. Opening comments: "Alright, guys. Injuries from the game, [T] Trent Williams ended up having a high-ankle sprain. He'll be out some time. [LB] Azeez [Al-Shaair] had an MCL sprain, it's very similar to what [RB] Elijah [Mitchell] did, so most likely won't require surgery, but probably the same time. We'll see, but I know we gave Elijah, our guess was around eight weeks. [TE] Ross Dwelley has ribs, he'll be day-to-day with those. Go ahead guys." Any

On Monday, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan admitted that the team would look to work out running backs after losing rookie Ty Davis-Price to a high-ankle sprain for several weeks. The team will also seek another quarterback, with Trey Lance's season over due to a broken ankle. Those weren't the only injuries from Sunday's 27-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Tight end Tyler Kroft suffered an MCL sprain and will also miss several weeks. That prompted the 49ers to work out former North Carolina tight end Garrett Walston, who signed with San Francisco as an

Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett jumped on a conference call with reporters, sharing his perspective on the upcoming Week 3 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Here are a few of the topics on which he touched. What do you see in quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo? "Having so much experience going against him, so much respect for him and his game," Hackett said. "He has an amazing release. He has the ability to get the ball out quick. He makes quick, fast decisions. I mean, he's a very good football player who's had a lot of success. I think I was at Jacksonville in 2017 when he [went to the 49ers], and he actually beat us toward the end of the season there. We were, I think, 10-and-4 or something like that, and he came out,
