49ers 2022 Undrafted Free Agent Tracker

With the 2022 NFL Draft now complete, San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan have shifted their focus to signing undrafted free agents.

Below is a running tally of the undrafted players who the team has either signed or will reportedly sign. The 49ers will eventually make an official announcement of all of their undrafted rookie signings.

DT Kevin Atkins, Fresno State
Measurables: 6-3, 305lb
Notes: Recorded 41 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, and seven sacks as a senior in 2021.


LB Jeremiah Gemmel, North Carolina
Measurables: 6-1, 225lb
Notes: Recorded 73 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, an interception, three passes defensed, and a forced fumble as a senior in 2021. Deal includes $90,000 total guarantee with $70,000 of his base salary guaranteed and a $20,000 signing bonus, per Aaron Wilson.


RB Cyrus Habibi-Likio, Boise State
Measurables: 6-1, 210lb
Notes: Recorded 374 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 107 carries as a senior for the Broncos in 2021 after transferring from Oregon.


Update: Habibi-Likio was not signed. Instead, he was invited to the upcoming rookie minicamp to try out for the team.

CB/S Tayler Hawkins, San Diego State
Measurables: 6-1, 205lb
Notes: Recorded 62 tackles, a tackle for a loss, two interceptions, 10 passes defended, and a forced fumble as a senior in 2021.


DB Qwuantrezz Knight, UCLA
Measurables: 6-0, 199lb
Notes: Recorded 65 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, three passes defended, and a forced fumble with the Bruins in 2021. The Athletic reported the signing.

WR Taysir Mack, Pittsburgh
Measurables: 6-2, 190lb
Notes: Recorded 161 receptions for 2,369 yards with 12 touchdowns through his entire collegiate career.


WR Tay Martin, Oklahoma State
Measurables: 6-3, 186lb
Notes: Recorded 80 catches for 1,046 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior in 2021.


LB Segun Olubi, San Diego State
Measurables: 6-2, 220lb
Notes: Recorded 52 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, a pass defensed, and two forced fumbles as a senior in 2021.


S Leon O'Neal, Texas A&M
Measurables: 6-1, 210lb
Notes: Recorded 58 tackles, three tackles for a loss, a sack, two interceptions, and a touchdown as a senior in 2021. His deal with the 49ers includes a $10,000 signing bonus and a $50,000 base guarantee, per Doug Kyed.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech. Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team. The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday. Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. Ian Rapoport didn't offer much of an update on the ongoing contract negotiations between the San Francisco 49ers and their standout wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk. However, the NFL insider emphasized one thing: The team is not entertaining trade discussions at this juncture. Reacting to Aiyuk's decision to unfollow the 49ers on Instagram, Rapoport couldn't help but chuckle at the latest development.
