According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the San Francisco 49ers are receiving offers for wide receiver Deebo Samuel. However, it is unknown what those offers actually include, and the team would love to hold onto their dynamic offensive weapon.
If a deal is going to happen, it will probably happen by the night's end. If it doesn't, the 49ers are likely holding onto Samuel and hoping the team-player relationship can be mended.
That hasn't stopped NFL teams from trying, though.
"There are multiple teams that have tried to engage with the 49ers," Pelissero said on NFL Network. "They've had multiple offers, including a first-round pick and more. The 49ers just don't seem inclined to engage, at least not at the same compensation point as the Tyreek Hill deal or the Davante Adams trades."

Ian Rapoport joined Pelissero on-air in Las Vegas on Thursday and said the timing of a deal is critical. The first round of the 2022 NFL Draft kicks off in two hours. Is there even enough time to get a deal done?
Rapoport brought up the previous offseason trades of Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill. Those deals were in the works for a while.
"First of all, that was days and days and weeks of work, and working, and figuring, and making sure the compensation was right," Rapoport said. "But that's not actually the issue. The issue is Deebo Samuel is going to need a new contract to show up at his new team. Maybe the Jets. Maybe the Lions. Is there enough time to even negotiate that if you deal even right now?
"Plus, he's got to come in and take a physical. Unlikely that anything bad would happen in a physical, but we've actually seen it sometimes. Someone takes a physical, and some sort of deal is off. ... It just seems like there's not enough time."
Pelissero added: "It seems like the 49ers are digging in with a player who ... does not want to be in San Francisco."
