Wide receiver Deebo Samuel and linebacker Fred Warner were among the players who exited Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings due to injuries. Head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters via a conference call on Monday and provided several injury updates, including those suffered by Samuel and Warner. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a groin strain. "I expect him to miss one to two weeks," Shanahan said. Linebacker Fred Warner is dealing with a hamstring strain and will miss this weekend's game against the Seattle Seahawks. "Hopefully, he'll be back the next one," Shanahan said. Running back Trey Sermon suffered an ankle sprain. "It's not [a high-ankle sprain], but it was a pretty bad one. He'll be out for a little

The bad news is that the San Francisco 49ers will be without their leading receiver, Deebo Samuel, this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. The good news is that the receiver isn't dealing with a long-term injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters on Monday that Samuel should only miss one to two weeks. Still, Samuel has clearly been the 49ers' most-valuable player this season. On Sunday, he became the first Niners wide receiver to surpass 1,000 receiving yards since Anquan Boldin did so in 2014. Samuel has also been a crucial part of San

On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers will be without their leading receiver, Deebo Samuel, against the Seattle Seahawks. That is a significant loss for a team that has been surging in recent weeks. The 49ers want to ensure that improvement doesn't slow at Lumen Field this weekend. Samuel has been a significant part of the offense, accounting for 1,209 total yards of offense and 10 total touchdowns. Luckily, the whole team has been playing better in recent weeks. San Francisco has won three straight and four of their last five, improving to 6-5 on the season and getting back into the playoff picture. The offense will miss Samuel, but head coach Kyle Shanahan believes the team can overcome the loss of one player on offense, even one as good as Samuel. "I

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 13 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Linebackers Dre Greenlaw and Marcell Harris did not practice. Harris remains in the concussion protocol. Both sustained their injuries during Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings. Greenlaw has been ruled "out" while Harris is "questionable." Running back Trey Sermon was also absent from practice due to the ankle injury suffered on Sunday. "It's not [a high-ankle sprain], but it was a pretty bad one," head coach Kyle Shanahan said earlier this week before admitting that injured reserve is a possibility for the rookie running back. "He'll be out for a little while." KNBR's Jake Hutchinson reports
