San Francisco 49ers rookie Trey Lance started the second half of today's divisional matchup against the Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a calf injury.
After the visiting team jumped to a 21-7 lead, Lance was able to help spark the Niners with a deep 76-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who was running free down the right sideline.
Mitch Wishnowsky, kicking for an injured Robbie Gould, missed the extra point. As of this post, San Francisco trails 21-13.
