There was no Trent Williams in sight when the San Francisco 49ers took the field for their last practice before boarding a plane for Southern California this afternoon. The veteran offensive tackle limped off the practice field yesterday, but head coach Kyle Shanahan didn't sound too concerned about the veteran's status while speaking with reporters.
"I didn't see it. They said he just clipped his hip or knee or something, and we got him out," Shanahan said after yesterday's practice. "He didn't seem overly concerned, but we've got to look at it when we get inside."
The 49ers provided an update, stating that Williams is dealing with "knee swelling." Cornerback Emmanuel Moseley is also absent from practice due to a hamstring issue.
#49ers OT Trent Williams won't practice today because of knee swelling. Same for CB Emmanuel Moseley, who is dealing with a hamstring issue.

Matt Barrows of The Athletic notes that offensive tackle Shon Coleman is also dealing with a knee issue and is not practicing today.
Both Williams and Coleman are dealing with knee issues that are considered minor. Williams has swelling in the knee after getting tangled in yesterday's practice.
